| 内容記述 | It is becoming clear that the Nazi regime, which would conduct human genocide on an industrial scale, advanced legislation and policies regarding the conservation of nature and animals, considered at present to be epoch-making. What conception of “life” made Nazism compatible with conserving nature, and what kind of conservation did “nature conservation” imply? This paper explores these questions by focusing on an introductory book explaining “nature conservation” written for the people during the period when establishing conservation policies was at its peak. In this inquiry, three ideological nodes were extracted: （1） anti-liberalism, （2） nature conservation as “Heimat （Homeland） conservation”, and （3） biological determinism. The substance and context of these nodes are clarified. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 膨大な数の人間を工業的に殺戮したナチ体制は，自然や動物の保護をめぐって今日的に見て一面では画期的ともいえる法整備や政策を進めていたことが近年明らかとなりつつある。いかなる生命観がナチズムと自然保護を親和させたのか，また「自然保護」とは何の保護を意味していたのか。本論文はこれらの問いを，自然保護政策が最も盛り上がりを見せていた時期に，大衆向けに著わされた自然保護の入門書に焦点をあて検討した。これを通じて，（１）反自由主義，（２）「郷土」の保護，（３）生物学主義という３つのイデオロギー的結節点を摘出し，その内実とコンテクストを明らかにした。 | |||||||||||
