| 内容記述 | 本稿は，日本における建築論の礎を築いた森田慶一（1895-1983）に着目し，森田と台湾とのかかわりにおける知られざる一面を明らかにするものである。森田は1931年パリ植民地博覧会で開催される植民地都市計画会議のための報告書作成を依頼された。それは朝鮮と台湾における「住宅」と「美学」に関する報告書作成依頼であった。森田はその依頼を断ったが，1939年の台湾訪問の際の講演で，その依頼に応えるような内容を語っていたことが明らかとなった。また，1931年の会議報告書依頼は，森田の南洋での建築調査の動機の一つとも言え，台湾での講演はその後の森田の南方研究の方向性を示していたことが明らかとなった。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper focuses on Keiichi Morita（1895-1983）, who laid the foundation for the theory of architecture in Japan, and clarifies unknown aspects of Morita’s relationship with Taiwan. Morita was asked to prepare a report for the Colonial Urban Planning Conference to be held at the Paris Colonial Exposition in 1931. It was a request to prepare a report on “habitation” and “aesthetics” in Korea and Taiwan. Morita declined the request, but the content of his lecture on the occasion of his visit to Taiwan in 1939 was an overview in response to the request. It was also revealed that the request for a report on the 1931 conference was one of the motivations for Morita’s research on architecture in the South Seas, and that the lecture in Taiwan indicated the direction of Morita’s subsequent research on the South Seas. | |||||||||||
