However, there are challenges in the cost-effectiveness of this wastewater-based epidemiological study. In this study, we focused on antipyretic analgesics, which are frequently used during the onset of infectious diseases, and investigated methods for the analysis of acetaminophen and acetaminophen metabolites in environmental water.
