| 内容記述 | This study examined the relationship between the function of autobiographical memory and achievement motivation. Two hundred and twenty participants completed the Japanese version of the Thinking About Life Experiences（ TALE） scale, a scale for measuring achievement motive, and the Centrality of Event Scale （CES）. Structural equation modeling （SEM） was conducted on the models. The results revealed that the self and directive functions of the autobiographical memory were positively related to the CES, and the CES was positively related to personal need achievement in the scale for measuring achievement motive. The results suggest that the function of autobiographical memory plays a significant role in achievement motivation. | |||||||||||
