| 内容記述 | This study examined the relationship between anger and emotional intelligence. Undergraduate students (70 male and 24 female) were asked to rate items from the J-ESCQ (Japanese version of the Emotional Skills & Competence Questionnaire) by Toyota, Morita, & Taksic (2007) and the AALS (Anger Arousal and Lengthiness Scale) by Watanabe & Kodama(2001). Results showed significant negative correlations between the following: (1) total score of the AALS and PU (Perceiving and Understanding emotion) in the J-ESCQ, (2) total score of the AALS and MR (Managing and Regulation emotion) in the J-ESCQ,(3) anger lengthiness in the AALS and PU, and (4) anger lengthiness in the AALS and MR. These findings suggest that emotional intelligence plays a significant role in anger lengthiness. | |||||||||||
