| 内容記述 | There have been a considerable number of studies on Japanese benefactive expressions, but the particular aim of this article is to contrast the Japanese verb MORAU with its corresponding Spanish expressions, focusing on the grammatical form of the giver and the receiver. The results of this study have ascertained that: (1) MORAU corresponds, literally and grammatically, to the Spanish verb RECIBIR and similar verbs; (2) in Spanish expressions the receiver tends to appear not as a nominative, but as a dative, and in this pattern the subject often tends to be impersonal; (3) MORAU is frequently used in grammatical construction for making requests and asking for permission. | |||||||
