The modern Japan was built upon such invasions. Japan, however, was subsequently defeated and the peace Constitution was established in 1947. Despite the fact that war as a sovereign right of the nation is abolished by the Constitution, Japan today seems to be moving on to dangerous direction toward war. In order to prevent this from happening, we must study the history of wars of aggression and the imperialist's logic over and over again. The learning is especially important for the young generations who do not know the modern history of their own country.
