At first I analyze the traditional production factor procurement system supported by the worldwide shipping exchanges London and New York and compare it with the current innovative system based on the flag of convenience. While to the Japanese shipping, the traditional system was supported by the vertical relationship of owner and operator, its innovative system has been designed as the original combination system of shipbuilding order and in-house charter. Then this paper econometrically investigates the Japanese procurement system of production factors from 1980 to 2008. I make clear especially the innovative power of response to the structural change in global economy generating since 1985. My finding suggests Japanese shipping industry has changed in 4?5 years cycle its business strategy determined by the fluctuations of foreign exchange rate of Yen, Japanese seafarer costs and the Japan GDP global share.}, pages = {233--263}, title = {日本海運業の要素調達システム構造変化の実証分析}, volume = {12}, year = {2011} }
