 note = {The purpose of this study is to examine the changing understanding of teacher trainees of what they consider the most important function of student guidance. The study asked this question, before and after lectures, to students who are aiming to become teachers.
　Through this research, we aim to improve educational practices in elementary and secondary education and also university-level lectures for teacher training in the modern knowledge-based society.
　As a result, the study suggests that in areas a person considers important that position may affect the person’s ability to be her or himself, and may also affect the breadth and depth of range in the area given priority.},
