 note = {For English learners, understanding and mastering the usages of articles is an overwhelming task. Nevertheless, some audacious people have taken up the challenge. Through reading their English writing and checking the mistakes that students make, we have learned a number of things that have been overlooked. Moreover, the examination has provided opportunities to reconfirm word usage in sentences. In this paper, the discussion centers on the usages of articles. We have noticed several typical mistakes made by students in their writing. Some of these mistakes are isolated and subjected to analysis. It is hoped that the reader can apply some of our findings for teaching.},
