 note = {Diplomatic policies are based on principles of relationship between nations. Wars were fought under these principles. The first period is when nation states were established （15th-18th c.）. The Second period is when nation states became powers during early imperialism （19th c.）. The third is the age of Imperialism （1890-1945）. The fourth is the age of the Cold War （1945-1990）. And the fifth is the age of Globalization（ 1990-present）.
　In the last period all diplomatic activities were executed in relation to USA, the super power. USA declared itself the world’s police force. At the same time the principles of nation states have been undermined resulting in armed conflicts.},
