 note = {The purpose of this article is to examine organizational scandal constructed by stakeholders.
First, the article conducts a theoretical examination of organizational scandal and corporate
scandal research. The existing research on these topics has many theoretical and practical
implications, but these studies alone are insufficient for examining the organizational scandal
constructed by stakeholders. Second, the article makes a theoretical review of organizational
scandal constructed by stakeholders. In order to do so three cases are described, and for
this an analytical framework is formulated. Third, the three cases that are analyzed are (1)
TOSHIBA’s claimers incident, (2) Paloma’s water heater accident, and (3) Toyota’s recall.},
