This article analyzes the present situation of the overseas production and water environment conservation of Japanese companies in Vietnam and the Philippines. We use the case study approach based on our interviews to Japanese companies in those countries. The Japanese companies are strongly conscious of Corporate Social Responsibility. On the other hand, the surrounding environment of those Japanese companies often suffers from heavy environmental damage. The governments of those countries need social designs and more strict regulations to improve the environment. |
