It is very important for the political science to analyze the political and historical nature of the Japanese Emperor in the period from Meiji-Ishin(Meiji Revolution) up to the present. Has the Emperor been an absolute monarchy or a constitutional monarchy? Which did he represent the interest of landowners or capitalists? In Japan, the dispute on these problems is called "Nihon Shihonshugi Ronsou"(The Disputation on the Development of the Japanese Capitalism). Many Marxists have attempted to solve these problems, but nobody has ever succeeded. Now, almost ex-Marxists give up Marxist theory and I dare to challenge this difficult task by Marxist theory. |
